Fall Families
I love sharing the magic of love during the fall with family sessions that showcase the uniqueness of each group. Most of the time, the images are the standard posed, focused on the lens look of all the members, but sometimes things can get funny, if not hilarious. Those of the extra special captures that excite me and helps create special moments that are shared at future gatherings. these are the ones that express more of the personality and less of the perfect portrait.
I’ve been photographing the Joe & Christin since their wedding in 2011 and they feel like my second family. Watching their two sons grow up in photos has been a real treat for me, as well as watching them grow as parents. While I love to brag about Joe being the guitarist for the popular band Hinder, over the years I see him just as a great friend, patient father and loving husband to Christin. His down-home attitude about life and outgoing personality makes him someone I look up to and would love to grow up to be more like him, even though Joe is half my age. And Christin is so caring and generous that it’s hard to not feel part of the family when I come over to the house. She is a smoke show backed by smarts and a hard charging work ethic. They are wonderful parents to Corbin and Cason almost to a fault that makes me feel like I’ve really screwed my four daughters upbringing. Their family is a treasure.
