I'm sure you have noticed, if you follow us on social media, that we are not your average wedding photographers.In fact, we live our motto of "Fun, Fresh & Fabulous" to the fullest on most days and certainly during weddings.And this year, I wanted to try something a little crazy and out of the box.I want to share more ideas, gifts, and tips to the grooms (or future grooms) out there in the wild.

After shooting hundreds of weddings over many (many, many, many...) years, the grooms "don't get no love".  Wedding vendors routinely joke that the groom's main duty to threefold on the special day

1 - be overly excited or cry when seeing the bride for the first time

2 - don't screw up the vows

3 - don't get drunk - or at least, don't stubble and swap during the ceremony.

Beyond that, it appears that very little is expected of the groom and groomsmen.  So long as the guys don't create a scene, disturb everyone preparing decorations for reception or sing too loud... All is good.

I say "No More!"  Groom's have a voice that needs to be heard when planning the event that is "technically" 50% of their responsibility.  Ok, let's be honest in the planning this wedding thing, it's more like the bride is 50%, the groom is 10% and the bride's mom is 40%.  Did you laugh a little?  So you are following me so far on this path.  Isn't it time the grooms of the world speak up?  Go ahead men... stand up and say "Hell Yes!"  Note to self, be sure the bride is not reading this blog post over your shoulder.

Now that we have avoided an emotional disaster by letting her see the happy dance, I believe that "Grooms Lives Matter".  I hope you do as well and let's plan on focusing more on the man side of the wedding with tips, hacks, and ideas.
