I made a commitment to shoot Fujifilm exclusively in August 2018 but I carried my trusted Nikon kit as a solid backup. After several months of working in the new system, I finally took advantage of the Bedford Camera & Video Trade-Up Program during PhotoCon in 2019. In the program, Bedford Camera offered an additional 10% of the trade-in value if I spend the credit in the tradeshow. Now many would take the cash and move along, but between the added 10% and the sales tax break offered in the tradeshow… well, I love the smell of new gear. So I walked in with a cart filled with Nikon gear and walked out with cart filled with Fujifilm goodies.

I wanted to share part of my story with you and my friend Leia Smethurst from LeiaPhoto.com joined me.
