Our first Bridal Fair.....

Wow... its 4:45 am... Yep that early.... thank you so much to my 4 little 6 week old alarm clocks... you puppies are cute... and thats a very very good thing... if you weren't... lol. Today I am marking a whole new phase of Audacious Photography!  Were doing our first show!.  I have to admit it was stressful and time consuming but when the final canvas was hung it brought tears to my eyes!. Not because of how good the booth looks (it look so amazing btw) or because I poked my self whin a pen while Suzanne draped the fabric.  No I stood back surrounded by all the commotion of vendors setting up their booths around and I had an epiphany. (yes that is a big word this early in the morning).  I am blessed, this I will be the first to admit, how ever it was truly made clear in that moment.  I have an awesome, crazy chaotic, laughter filled, busy, insane life and I am blessed.  My home is full of love thanks to a tried  and true warrior, my children all  of them basically rock! Some I gave birth to, some I will marry and some I just flat out claim.  God gives you two families in this world.  One your born into, the other you choose your self! Both equally important in our lives, both gifts.

Ok anyway so I am looking at our booth and at first I was overwhelmed by the fact that I have dear friends and family that pitched in no questions asked to help me do this.  Some I have know for a very long time, and some are rather new in my life. I just want you to know that I am truly grateful for and love each of you dearly and am blessed to call you my friends.

Then I looked really look at the images.  Not as a photographer but as a friend and a Woman!  These amazing ladies that allowed me to take them on this little journey were there hanging up on the walls of the display and I was speechless. (for those of you who know me, know what often me being speechless actually happens... not).  Thats really what a Audacious Boudoir Session is a journey of discovery, of self worth and empowerment.  We get married have babies and work or stay at home, feed, cloth, clean, do laundry for days and try to keep our homes clean and families healthy.  We as women have a tendency to take care of everyone around us and we forget about ourselves. These Moms and Aunts and Sisters and Wives shared their stories with me and let me take them and help show them that they are strong and beautiful in so many more ways than what they look like.....

To all my Audacious Ladies Thank you!  To all those Audacious Ladies yet to come... I can't wait!
