Holiday Blessing

I feel blessed that so much good has happened in 2019. Between the fabulous friendships, amazing clients, traveling to Spain with my whole family and all the opportunities to help other photographers through my education efforts, my heart has been so full.
Ending the year on an even higher note wasn't possible until December 28 when two people joined forces to make me cry. 

Jamie Massey Cobb and Terri E Trawick knew exactly what a gift of love, kindness, and inspiration a new camera provides a passionate shooter like me. They presented me with the new FUJIFILM X Series US X-Pro3.
Capturing life's moments is more than my passion, it's my way of life... It's my secret meaning of happiness, my inner peace and coping mechanism for PTSD. I never knew how much photography and this industry would help me grow as a person, pushing me outside of so many comfort zones. My craft has placed me in the middle of love, laughter, sorrow, pain, hunger, despair and conflict. I've seen the best of people and the worse of humanity through my career traveling the world.

The X-Pro3 is a perfect capture device to move quietly through the highs and lows of the moments that define the diversity of life. The hidden screen is key to focusing on being present and involved with the subject. Bravo Fujifilm USA for having the vision to create a camera that photographers will embrace and applause the film-like experience. Focus on the capture not the review.

In the coming years, I wish everyone to be blessed with family and friends that appreciate your talents, push you to explore and help you become the best version of yourself possible. Reward them - and yourself - by doing good for others.
