Project Healing with M&K

We love shooting commercial projects and helping our clients visualize their products or services.  It's more fun when we have a chance to work with with a dear friend.  Karen (we call her Jess) in an amazing photographer specializing in capturing nature and blessed natural healer.  It's humbling when another professional trust's our skills and vision for their business photography.

Jess and her friend Machelle started M&K Healing Salts to provide comfort, relief and stress reduction to clients and friend.  We have the privilege of shooting the product and demo images for the new marketing branding.  Now before you start asking me if the Himalayan Salt Mat is helping me, I haven't tried it yet.  However, I am typing this blog post, it's tempting to grab on for my chair.  Of course, I'm not positive if this is the proper way to care for a client's product while planning the next session. Ha,ha,ha... Then again, I did eat lots of wonderful chocolate after shooting with Gene Leiterman from CocoFlow and countless amazing calories from Louie's Grill & Bar, as well from Bricktown Brewery.

It’s important to show the uses of a product and having the right face to present the line is another factor.  Lucky, we have an “ace in the hole” with our fitness model Paige Houck.  She is always a pleasure on set, ready to work with a sunny attitude.  We keep a small database of local talent for these types of projects, workshops and personal exploration images.  If you would like to be a part of our talent pool, head over to the Talent Form on our site and complete the information.

Here are a few images from our shoot this week.  If you are interested in more information on the healing properties of Himalayan Salts and these custom mats, click over to their website.
