Things Happening

I’m back at the Leaf+Bean coffee shop between shoots for caffeine and bathroom break.  When you work on the road, never underestimate a good clean restroom.  My friends know that I have the inside track on the best, cleanest and easiest access relief stations.  It’s almost a game on road trips to stop and see if the facilities meet my strict guidelines.

I’ve been working steadily in the background on my future Fujifilm projects and I was shocked to find a fellow photographer inspired by my journey that she has chosen a similar path.  I thought finding my domain - FujiFilmPhotographer.com - was serendipity but I didn’t look far enough into the craziness of available domains.  My friend and fellow FujiFilm explorer found FujiFreak.com!  Are you kidding me?  How did I get “one-up’d” on my own game?  Remember when you read this, that last part was a funny sarcastic high pitch voice.  I’m totally excited for my Aussie shooter to have the creative mindset to snatch up that find.  Be sure to follow her as well as the journey of FujiFilm discovery happens.

So the big news right to share is ... I’m moving!  And not to Austin, like my regular business website said as a teaser.  I’m moving into a new house in Yukon, Oklahoma.  We still will have Mustang school district so my youngest can finished her last year of high school.  In fact, we close on the house tomorrow and I’m a wreak of emotions, but mainly excited about the possibilities.  The flower on the table here today reminded me of how I feel, a little prickly on the outside, dropping dry leaves everywhere but still looking pretty.  The photo explains it better.
